EQUIPMENT FOR COMPANYIA GENERAL D´AIGUES DE CATALUNYA S.A.

Located in Torrent (Girona), this WTP, owned by the Costa Brava Water Consortium, serves the central area of ​​the Costa Brava. It is designed to treat up to 1,000 m3/h, with an average flow rate of 800 m3/h.

EMICA, in collaboration with HIMANAR, a local company with 40 years of experience in the pumping sector, has delivered the following high-pressure multistage WK pumps:

2 WK 200-03, 3-stage, with a capacity of Q=500 m3/h and H=115 mca and 250 kW

1 WK 150-06, 6-stage, with a capacity of Q=330 m3/h and H=150 mca and 200 kW

Its main purpose is to purify and pump water to the Cantallops and Quermany reservoirs, from which the municipalities of Palafrugell, Begur, Pals, Regencós, and Torrent are supplied.

Aigues de Catalunya once again relies on EMICA to ensure its supply to this area of ​​Baix Empordà, famous for its breathtaking scenery and one of the largest tourist destinations in Catalonia.
